Lindsay Hand Art Sale: October 26, 3 to 6 p.m.
Colorado Springs native Lindsay Hand’s work has been exhibited throughout the state at various galleries, beginning with Wunderkind in 2001 at the BAC and recently at The Modbo in 2013. Hand has been nominated twice for a Pikes Peak Arts Council Excellence in Arts Award, Best Visual Artist in 2012 and 2014. She was featured in Volume 21 of Studio Visit Magazine in 2013. Her most recent collection, “Remembering the Ludlow Massacre,” consists of eleven large-scale oil paintings, part of The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum exhibit “Memories of a Massacre: Perspectives on Ludlow.”
Lindsay Hand will be holding an open studio Sunday, October 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. The studio is located at the Saks Building, 29 E. Bijou St. Colorado Springs, Studio #9. A complete collection of art will be available, including earlier works, oil studies, prints, and her newest work, Compensation Boxes, small sculptures featured at Shuga’s Restaurant through November 4th.
