Setting Fire to Straw Men

August 10, 2013 | Filed under: Analysis, Perspective for Hire, Rhetoric Videos and tagged with: Amendment 64, bach, cannabis, colorado, colorado springs, marijuana, mayor, steve

Lindsay Deen continues her discussion regarding the retail cannabis ban in Colorado Springs, CO. She deftly exposes Mayor Bach’s deceptive reasoning. He pushed City Council to opt out of retail cultivation, manufacturing, sales, and testing, and his policies go against the will of the majority.

Lindsay Deen currently writes regularly for US Represented, and she works to create activism and conversation in the Colorado Springs community. As a member of Every Vote Counts and supporter of many causes, she wants to see her home town blossom and thrive economically and socially. Her philosophy: "Let's agree to disagree and find compromises." She knows no one is ever happy with their portion of the pie, but at least everyone gets something in a compromise.
