In Lindsay’s perspective, art operates as a mirror for the viewer. In each piece of art, regardless of verisimilitude, humans observe visual clues and create meaning from their observations. Thus, art becomes an act of personal creation and introspection while providing an important psychological connection to community. Lindsay Deen is an artist dedicated to being a mirror for all those around her. A Colorado Springs resident and local activist, Lindsay enjoys photography, painting, stained glass, poetry, beading, and a number of other artistic endeavors. She works for iComply, a Colorado Springs Cannabis Compliance Company, and she blogs for USR and volunteers for Every Vote Counts.
